6 Things You Should Know About Stretching

Before you start training or exercise, you have to do warmup or stretching to prevent injury or accidents. There are many benefits of stretching before and after exercise.


1. Many people know about stretching before can prevent injury and it helps to increase muscles but only a few people know that stretching just after with a warm body can increase the flexibility of your body.

2. To warm up people hold their body in stretching position for 20 sec. But if you hold for 60 sec it will increase your body's flexibility very fast.

3. Do not go into stretching position then immediately return to the relaxed position. It can strain or damage some journies or muscles. So, slowly goto stretching position and slowly return to relaxed position.

4. Work slowly increment instead of immediately proceeding to do hardest exercise or position.

5. Stretch regularly to continually increase your range of movements and your level of flexibility and strength.

6. Rest. Rest is most important to increase muscles. Muscles grow during rest time not when you work out.
